Uses a novel design with 3DOF to gain compliance even with stiff elastomer; NVH can only conduct straight downward into the mount, which the engine has very little movement toward. all other directions are dampened by the mount.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese reach similar isolation performance to OEM by having mount itself deform, rather than just the elastomer as in other designs on the market. NVH increase begins at 10% (engine) and 15% (transmission) but will taper down to essentially 0-5% vs OEM after a few hundred miles.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLongevity is much better than polyurethane, especially in the engine bay, where high ambient temperatures can cause permanent creep\/plastic deformation of polyurethane.
