PRE-ORDER, JULY 2026: CD009/A reinforced, straight cut motorsports gear set
ADOPT-specification reinforced motorsports gearset for the Nissan CD009/A 6MT transmission in all applications, including conversions. Features high-strength straight cut spur gears and reinforced input shafts. Drop-in replacement for OEM standard gearset, including all conversions (RB, JZ, UZ, etc.)
Race car type gear whine from spur gears.
Two formats:
Synchromesh, smooth shifts with reinforced internals.
Dog box, true circuit-specification. ETA to market JULY 2026. First orders ship OCT 2026.
Three gear ratio sets:
S1: Reinforced synchro Sports set for road and dual-use cars. 1st and 6th gears made taller for better drivability and commute fuel economy for those with 3.916 and shorter final drives; 2nd-4th more tightly grouped for rowing through gears; 4th shortened so a pull at wide open throttle will be only marginally legal when hitting redline.
R1 Dogbox: S1 with dog gears for enhanced durability under more severe use.
R1C Cross/close-mission dogbox: Dedicated circuit specification. 6th gear has been adjusted to just barely meet the top speeds possible at most tracks on front straights, and 1st-5th have been evenly distributed around common cornering speeds, preventing excessive shifting but keeping the engine RPM between peak torque and peak horsepower. Complete 1st-6th replacement only.
Custom: Bespoke set of gearing on request for additional fee.
Four gear packs:
1st-6th: complete replacement, including reinforced input shaft.
OPTION: 6th gear, straight cut and reinforced for circuit users. No cost.
OPTION: 6th gear, helical cut and reinforced. Keeps 6th gear quiet for those dailying or commuting with their cars. No cost.
1st-4th multipack: $2200 cheaper for the same benefit, where 5th and 6th can be left OEM. Replaces only the gears used during sports driving.
3rd-4th pack: Budget option to get racing performance (and gear whine) for the most used gears in sports driving.
1st-2nd C pack: A slice of the close-mission, in synchromesh form. Much taller gearing so 1st and 2nd gears can be functional on even short final drives.
Pricing includes mandatory Federal tariff which will revert to base MSRP if the tariffs are lifted.

Disclaimers: This product is meant to be installed into new transmissions; if retrofitting a partial gearset, additional wear of the original parts may occur from increased load. It is highly recommended that a transmission refresh be done during installation for this reason.
This is a motorsports product, and will stress all driveline components more strongly than stock. Always be sure your car is capable of handling this increased load, including but not limited to motor mounts, transmission mounts, and differential bushings.
