Z33 R-tune / SILENT-CIRCUIT differential carrier bushing
Developed to emulate a NISMO R-tune S15 differential carrier bushing, with a stiffness target tailored for the Z33's single rear mount. Features ADOPT specification high-hysteresis polyurethane formulation to adequately dampen and suppress axle-hop without introducing the deafening NVH of the typical solution, a solid metallic bushing.
Subjective NVH increase: 0-3%; filters all noise above low rumble.
Stiffness suitable for motorsports use, including with high lock, clutch type LSD.
The only double-bonded polyurethane bushing on the market, which addresses tilting failure modes/kinematics that all other products ignore via shape factor 3-5x of others.
Single-sided polyurethane products are cheap, but they can move and distort in the subframe bore temporarily under high loads and hot temperatures; they also exhibit creep and become permanently distorted under repeated high cycle loads.
This bushing is properly supported in a steel sleeve with high shape factor of bonded area, spreading load over a much larger bond area, preventing deformation.
